Support
Help with the game. It's out now on Android, and iPhone is coming soon.
Need help?
support@Tell me your device model and OS version, and describe what happened. That's usually enough for me to figure out what went wrong. I read every message and I'll answer you.
Common questions
Is the game out yet?
It's out now on Google Play. The iPhone version is coming soon.
Does it have ads?
Yes. A rewarded ad can give you a hint toward an ending you haven't found, and it's always your choice. Other ads appear on the ending card and in the menus.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account and no login.
Why does the game want my camera?
Only the staring-contest dare uses the front camera, and only if you accept that dare. Face detection runs on your device. Nothing is recorded, saved, or sent. If you say no, the game plays without it.
Why did PAL send me a notification?
If you allowed notifications, PAL can send at most one a day. The game schedules them on your phone, with no server involved. To stop them, turn them off for the game in your phone's Settings.
Can I buy coins or gems?
No. The gems and coins in the fake games are part of the joke. There are no in-app purchases.
Will I lose my progress if I delete the game?
Yes. Progress lives on your device. There's no account, and I don't keep a copy on a server. Deleting the game removes it.
How do I change my ad consent?
Where Google asks for consent, the game shows its message before it requests any ads. On iPhone you can turn tracking off for the game in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Ads settings. Stuck? Email me.
Is Are You Still There? suitable for children?
It isn't made for young children. There's no chat and no account, but it has ads, and they aren't set up for kids. The privacy policy has the details.
