Are You Still There? is a comedy game with a narrator who notices when you leave
The narrator, PAL, wants you to keep playing, and he notices when you don't.
October 9, 2026 — MayBolt Media today announced Are You Still There?, a comedy game about a mobile game and a narrator who knows he lives on your phone.
Updated October 13, 2026. Are You Still There? is on Google Play, and the iPhone version is coming soon.
A narrator who reacts to how you play
Play the way PAL asks and he walks you through a tutorial. Stop, run backwards, leave the app, or turn the phone over, and he notices. He reacts to how long you were gone and whether you came back.
18 endings
Every choice moves the story toward one of 18 endings, and a shelf keeps track of the ones you have found. A few rare pranks are hiding in there too.
Five fake games
When you misbehave, PAL pivots to a different game: an endless runner, a match-3, an idle clicker, a gacha, and a one-button hopper. A More Games screen takes you back to any you have unlocked.
Four optional dares
A staring contest, holding a button, doing absolutely nothing, and the world's longest ad, which is fake. Each dare has its own secret ending.
Hints, camera, and notifications
A hint can point you toward an ending you haven't found, and it is always your choice. The gems and coins in the fake games can't be bought.
The staring contest uses your front camera, but only if you accept that dare. Face detection runs on your device, and nothing is recorded, saved, or sent. If you allow notifications, PAL sends at most one a day, scheduled on your phone. There is no account. The privacy policy has the rest.
Availability
Are You Still There? is on Google Play for Android phones. The iPhone and iPad version is coming soon. Subtitles are on all the time, and the game is in English only for now.
