MayBolt Media announces Outsnake, a reverse snake game for iPhone and Android
Stay one step ahead of the snake, and lead it into a wall for a big bonus.
October 9, 2026 — MayBolt Media today announced Outsnake: Bait the Snake, a reverse snake game for iPhone and Android. Players swipe to move one tile at a time, collect pellets and stay ahead of the snake.
Updated October 13, 2026. Outsnake is on Google Play, and the iPhone version is coming soon.
A snake that chases your last move
The snake chases where you were a moment ago, not where you are. Stop short or double back and watch it miss. Every pellet you take makes it longer and a little faster.
A bonus for every crash
Lead the snake into a wall or into its own body for a big bonus. It comes back short and slower, and the chase starts again.
Four power-ups
Freeze stops the snake cold. Dash jumps you up to three tiles. Decoy sends it after a fake. Shrink cuts its tail.
Four looks and six kinds of bait
Play on a 3D toy board in the Studio, Garden Toy, or Tabletop look. Classic, a green pixel LCD screen with bleeps to match, is earned with coins, and it has amber, pea soup, and blue light versions to earn too. You can choose your bait: a pellet, mouse, apple, fish, frog, or heart.
Simple swipe controls
Swipe to step. Hold after a swipe to keep moving, slide to turn, and lift to stop. Six short How to Play steps cover the rest. Music is yours to set: Calm, Lullaby, or off.
A leaderboard and six achievements
Post your best score to the Game Center or Google Play Games leaderboard, and earn six achievements. Signing in is optional, and the game only asks when you open the trophy screen.
Privacy
You get one continue per run, with coins, and only if you choose it. There is no account, and your progress stays on your phone. The privacy policy has the rest.
