Common questions
Is the game out yet?
It's out now on Google Play. The iPhone version is coming soon.
Does it have ads?
Yes. Banners sit at the bottom of the home screen, the shop, Get Coins, and the game-over card. They stay off during a run. A full-screen ad can show as you leave the game-over card, but not on your first three game overs. A rewarded ad only plays when you choose it: to continue a run, double your coins, get coins, or unlock a shop item.
How do I move?
Swipe to step one tile. Hold after a swipe to keep moving, slide to turn, and lift to stop. The How to Play screen on the home screen has six short steps.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account and no login.
Do I have to sign in to Game Center or Google Play Games?
No. Signing in is optional, and the game only asks when you open the trophy screen. If you skip it, the game plays the same. Your best score and earned achievements stay on your phone and go out the next time you sign in.
How do I earn coins and unlock looks?
You earn coins from every run, and spend them in the shop on looks and bait. Classic is a look you earn there. You can also get coins from a rewarded ad, which is always your choice.
Will I lose my progress if I delete the game?
Yes. Your best score, coins, and unlocks live on your device, and there is no cloud save. They may be included in your phone's own backup. Deleting the game removes the save on that device.
How do I change my ad consent?
Where the law calls for it, Settings shows a Privacy Choices row that opens the consent message again. On iPhone you can also turn tracking off for the game in Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Ads settings. Stuck? Email me.
Is Outsnake suitable for children?
It's a general-audience game, rated E for Everyone. On Google Play the target audience is 13 and up. There's no chat and no account, but it has ads. The privacy policy has the details.
