How do I throw?

Pull down from low on either side of the screen, then flick up to throw when the marker is on the gold. Then tap each time the stone touches the water. On the first lap, levels 1 to 3 show a guide: see-through side panels and a ghost thumb.

Does Skim have ads?

Yes. Skim has ads. You don't need an account, and your progress stays on your phone.

Can I pay to remove ads?

No. There's no way to pay to turn the ads off.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no account and no login.

Will I lose my progress if I delete the game?

Yes. Progress and coins live only on your device. There's no account, cloud save, Game Center, or Play Games.

I don't see any ads.

If you don't see ads, a brand-new game can take a little while to get them. Where Google asks for consent, ads also wait for your answer. Rewards like the extra stone only show up with an ad.

How do I change my ad consent?

If you're in a region where Google asks for consent, open Settings in the game and tap Privacy choices. On iPhone you can also turn tracking off for Skim in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Ads settings. Stuck? Email me.

The game asked me to rate it.

That's Apple's or Google's rating pop-up. It shows up once, after a good win from level 3 on. Rate it or close it, either is fine. The rating goes to the store, not to me.

Is Skim suitable for children?

Skim isn't made for young children. There's no chat and no account, but it has ads, and they aren't set up for kids. The privacy policy has the details.
